How Farefort handles data
Last updated July 11, 2026.
Route watch
Route watch stores the route, travel dates, cabin, passenger count, page path, and time submitted. Email is optional and is accepted only when a privacy contact is configured and the traveler consents. These details are used to understand route interest; Farefort does not currently send automated fare alerts.
Raw route-watch events are stored on the Farefort server and pruned by the daily reporting job after the configured retention period, which defaults to 90 days.
Travel partners and cookies
Farefort embeds a Travelpayouts White Label search tool and links to external travel providers. Those services may receive the search details placed in their URL, the referring page, device/network information, and Farefort's affiliate marker and placement SubID. They may set cookies under their own policies. Booking and payment happen on the provider's website, not on Farefort.
Contact and deletion
Optional email capture is disabled until the deployment operator publishes a privacy contact.
